Improving past inventions

Not every invention has to provide a completely new solution. Some very good inventions are improvements on previous solutions.  In the short life of the home computer we have seen many improvements in the way data is externally stored. Small memory sticks can now store more information than the older, bigger and more fragile floppies. Could you imagine the next improvement for the external data storage?

Ideas come out of our experiences. The ideas of today, and the businesses and entrepreneurs who have the courage and vision to follow them through, will shape our future

If you know of someone keeping old technology on the shelf, please e-mail lvolynskiy@howardcc.edu.  Please highlight and submit fresh ideas about unused technology , in the subject line of your e-mail specify: Bank Ideas.

Remember that the technology is out there - only you can make your ideas come true.  Make a difference in the world!

Text Box: 4-Tomorrow
Americans have been characterized by their inventive spirit since the days of Benjamin Franklin. New inventions lead to new technologies, create new jobs, and improve our quality of life. Today, America’s inventive spirit is one of our most treasured and envied assets, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office works to record, share, and preserve it. A patent helps an inventor to make money from his or her invention by allowing only the patentee or those who get his or her permission to make, use, import, sell or offer to sell the invention.
Throughout history, inventions have helped people discover new worlds, build communities, develop resources, increase productivity, cure diseases, ease burdens, and enjoy life to the fullest.
