What is  Technology Transfer ?
T2 is the process of building a relationship between education and industry that can have a significant effect on economic development.
What is HCC’s involvement in Technology Transfer?
Howard Community College serves as the lead partner in a grant from the NSF and, subsequently, is offering a new course to teach entrepreneurs the process of Technology Transfer.
Who should take this course? 
Anyone who would like to develop business skills within an existing organization or to start a new business will find this class beneficial. Students from selected high schools may also enroll.
What is specific about this new course? 
A team of experts guides students through market analyses of government-generated innovations to create community businesses.
Who else is involved in TAP?
We work with Howard County Economic Development and Howard County Public School  and research labs, such as JHU APL, NASA and USDA.
